about

One of my funnier songs, it is based on a memory snippet. I dimly recalled a moment in high school when one "prevo" threatened another with a fight after school...wait for it...behind the Esso station. You better be there. So, the song is imagined dialogue, mostly threats and burns. As it is about teen culture, surfin'/hot rod music from the early 60's seemed the ticket. I think it's a perfect song. Superior electric guitar again from a double-tracked Jack Shannon. We fade out in surfin' world with prominent riff stacking.
