about

I find it very difficult in late middle age to make friends. There. That's the subject of this glorious r&b pop number, one of my favorites. Everyone is too busy. Or, your only real connection is your kids. I'm very proud of the glorious vocal stack that is meant to parody a certain 70's mega-hit. A lot of work went into this one. Whew.

credits

from Smellicopter, released June 19, 2013
Nathan Goodwyn and Anthony Allen form the core rhythm section. Me on keys and classical guitar. Gloriously in/out sax solo by Jimmy Ghaphery. All vocals by yours truly.
